1. Data processed

• Name, phone number, email (if provided), birth year, gender.
• City/district preference and (with permission) location for nearby shops.
• Appointment/transaction records, reviews, ratings, favourites.
• Device/notification token, platform, app version; optional diagnostics (Crashlytics).
• For businesses: shop information and KYC documents.

2. Purposes

Account creation and authentication (OTP); creating, managing, and notifying about appointments; search/matching; security, fraud prevention, and legal obligations; improving service quality.

3. Legal grounds (KVKK art. 5)

Formation/performance of a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interest, and — where required — explicit consent (e.g. location, optional diagnostics; marketing is covered separately by the Explicit Consent statement).

4. Transfers

Data is handled via our hosting/infrastructure (Supabase/PostgreSQL), push (Firebase Cloud Messaging), SMS provider, crash/diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics), and login-screen bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), which may involve international transfer under KVKK art. 9.

5. Retention and deletion

You can delete your account in-app (Profile → Delete my account) or via the account-deletion page. After deletion the account is anonymised; certain records are retained in anonymised form for the period required by law.

6. Your rights (KVKK art. 11)

You may access, correct, delete, object to processing, and request portability of your data. Requests: support@sofium.com.tr.
